im currently on cable internet running here on my vista ultimate desktop.. i had the internet even before the clean install of vista.. after the install, it automatically recognizes my internet without problems..
but how come when i plug the cat5 wire to my laptop (running vista business, hp nx6320), it only shows LOCAL as the type of access in the networking and sharing center, i thought it would automatically recognize it like my freshly installed desktop did.. hence, i couldnt use the internet on my laptop.. what’s wrong?
