Wireless network benefits:

No need to run wires.

Users can be mobile.

Total installed cost may be less then wired for some buildings.

Wireless Network negatives:

Security, Security, Security!!!
The network must be setup and administered to continually monitor for hackers and browsers.
A good firewall is a must!

Cost:
Wireless hubs and interface cards are up to 10X the cost of wired hardware.

Thats the main issues in a ‘nut-shell’

I agree with TheChas and add that unless there is great need for wireless, FORGET IT.
