I have a school network with a 1GB backbone usinging 3com switches. The machines o/s are win 2000 office 2000. They connect to the network through wireless. The AP pionts have 2 cards 11mb each. At the most there are 30 users at the moment. When theusers save to their user areas on the network their laptops freeze. (Toshiba Satellite Pro 4600 800mhz 128k in bult wirless cards) They are in the same room as the ap points. The cards are set to freq 1/2. A couple of users manage it. Any suggestions what it could be. I have no problems saving from word to the network and I have checked security. Though the users cannot see ther c: drives!
Please note this is a school and the users have very little rights to there laptops. Teachers have no problems. None reported
