Wireless Access Point Doubts

Thanks kfedor for the answer and URL. I have this DLink in mind but still I like to go for some other company apart frm Dlink who can offer my solutions. By the way is it possible if I'm connected to WAPoint will I can use the colour printer attached to it . this is very important.Pls respond. Thanks

If you want to look at other brands of wireless networking equipment, I suggest that you look at Netgear and Linksys.

I consider both to be of higher quality than D-Link.

As far as your printer, using it as a network printer depends on the printer and how you connect.

Most printers can be shared from the PC that they are connected to.

For many printers, you can get a print server access point that connects directly to the printer. This has the benefit that you don't need to leave a computer on to share the printer.

Some of the newer HP printers have a built-in RJ45 network connector. You can wire these into many wireless hubs and share the printer that way.
