Did it work before?

Or is this the first you are adding the laptop to the network? (Has any setup been done?)

By what symptom are you gauging that the laptop does not access the internet? (What error messages, if any? What happens?)

Can you run ipconfig /all from a command line and paste the results? Can you ping 74.125.45.100 ?

Or possibly just have a look here:

Ideas

Just wondering,

Did this just start happening? Can you ping an internet IP such as www.yahoo.com? Usually when I go to a site with no internet, but network access it is due to the wrong DNS number's or not being able to ping the gateway due to a split line.

Trying to help, but I do not have much to work with here.
