Hi Everyone,
I’m having a problem with my second computer. I recently upgraded my old MS Wireless Optical Desktop 1000 and tried to load it onto the second machine. Plugged it in, XP Pro found it and insatlled the drivers and all worked fine.
If I restart the computer without shutting it down the combo works fine. If I shut down the computer it wont get past the “Press “DEL” to enter the Bios” screen and ends up running in a loop without getting to the Windows loader screen.
If I plug in the old ps2 keyboard with the USB wireless reciever still plugged in it works fine.
I’ve tried the bios and selected “halt on all errors, except keyboard” “halt on no errors” Nada. It just wont boot without the old PS2 keyboard plugged in.
Anyone experienced this before or have any ideas?
