I am researching about Wireless Digital Subscriber Line and would like to know if someone could suggest some wireless DSL routers available in the market that have good performance and also what brand of antenna is also reliable

I've looked at several of these and as far as "bang for the buck" goes, the Linksys WAP-11 seems to consistently get good reviews on performance and ease of setup/use. It is IEEE 802.11b.

The Enterasys Roamabout 1 is one I definitely would consider. It throws in three 10/100 Ethernet ports, one Ethernet WAN port, one print server port and one modem port. Their wireless adapters are among the best, also.

Orinoco's BG-2000 is very sweet too (and they make GREAT wireless adapters)...though more expensive. it is dual mode 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz and 802.11g compatible.

These would be my first three choices...I went with the WAP-11 and Orinoco cards. I still look rather longingly at the Enterasys stuff though.

Hope this helps.

I have setup the linksys. I chose it because of all of the positive things I have read about it. I has very pleased setting it up on both Windows NT and Windows 2k. It can be configured through a web browser but will generally function right out of the box. I would enable the WEP security even though Linksys says you don't need it. Especially if you also use the connection for networking your machines.
