Wireless LAN for my Laptop

By wait4u63 ·
I am running Ethernet network at my home which hooked up to DSL Lynksis modem.
I have 1 NT server and 2 workstations Win98SE which we share internet connection through DSL modem.
Currently I got laptop which I'd like to connect it to my existing LAN using wireless connection, so I can browse/reply mail from my laptop inside the house. Does anybody know or have experience with this configuration ??
I call IBM Anypoint they said it is not possible to combine those 2 different standard. Thanks

Wireless LAN for my Laptop

IBM is right. The problem is just like 10baseT can't communicate with 100baseT (unless the nic auto-adjusts tiself down to 10). What the wireless used is something completely different.

If you want to go wireless, you're probobly looing at doing the entire network to be wireless.
