Wireless Mouse Scrolling function

By Caleb_hengeveld@hotmail. ·
A logitech wireless optical mouse was installed and it won't scroll up, I installed the supplied software and it still won't scroll up. I tried the mouse on a windows 2k machine and it was able to scroll up. instead of scrolling up on the XP machine it goes to the bottom of the page. This happens in IE, Word, Windows Explorer everything.

The logitech drivers are not always the bests. First check the configuration of the mouse in the control panela nd eventually in the program from logitech. In there you can change the function of the wheel. If the configuration is correct I suggest uninstalling the logitech driver and try again. Install it as a standard generic or a microsoft mouse. It generally solve the problem

Exactly the same what has happened to my wireless! You just need to change the batteries, like I did. Now it's working wonderfuly!

I had the same problem. I tried the battery solution (change it out) but it didn't work. I even messed w/ all the controls in the mouse control (nothing really applied). I ended up unplugging and re-plugging in the mouse and it worked. Hope that helps!
