Wireless Network Securing - Fee

By Andrew06 ·
Do you think its ethical for someone to drive around and find unprotected wifi points, and then offer their services to them and charge them to secure up their network?

They would do things like change default settings, change the ssid, configure settings and enable protection. Do you think it would be alright to charge someone if you did that?

I think that it is very unethical and should be illegal myself.
If they come to you and offer for your service, then sure, you can charge them. But if you are going to them after driving around invading their networks........... I hope you dont **** off the wrong person

Not actually break into it..

I didn't actually mean to break into it, i meant by going around and searching for access points and then contacting them after you've logged if its secure or not, and then offering their services.

Would you say something like $100 AU to secure the basics aswell as some of teh workstations is too expensive?
