Hi, to whom it may concern
Can't I connect to the internet using a wireless networking? If yes, how?

in my area, our ISPs actually do offer wireless service. check with your local isp. most folks i know who get internet over wireless do it by networking wireless router 'access point' to internet connection and using that to share the internet connection to wireless enabled computers. You sound like you would like to rove with your wireless enabled laptop and hook to the internet whereever you are. if this is correct, you will need to find an isp offering wireless and ask them expected coverage.

As Sgt Schultz explained the wireless access is available from several ISP. VERY expensive and not really worth it, I tried it with my wireless notebook about a year or so ago, I reverted to using my cell phone for remote Internet access via the InfraRed port. even at 56k it was much more reliablethan my ISP's wireless service.

as for in your home, again, just but a wireless router and plug your modem into it, you can then roam your home without the wires.

I seen SO many peolpe try to get 'true' wireless access only to dump it within a few months due to cost and connection problems.
