All of a sudden my computer, which runs XP pro, went to the blue screen of death, and it has been occuring regularly. I havnt installed anything new, or even downloaded anything that might cause this. It blue screens because I have told it to do so instead of simply restarting itself, which it would have done. So I have to force a restart myself. The event viewer says that the issue was the Wireless Zero Configuration. I also noticed that the WZC things that it is April 19th, 2008! How is this possible? I disabled WZC and it appears my Netgear can handle the 802.11 by itself. If any body has an answer to why my computer began doing this out of the blue, and why its date is off (my computer’s date is fine, 1/14/2008) I would greatly appreciate it. I dont know just yet if disabling WZC fixed my problem.
