Wix XP – turn on MS auto update

I receintly purchased a used system from my company but can’t get the MS auto-updates to turn on. Both options are grayed out.

I have researched and tried several things that did not resolve this but belive there is a group policy from the company that is preventing this.

Any ideas… anyone…?

if its greyed out, then GPOs must be overriding the setting. You can find setting in:
Computer Configuration, Admin Templates, Windows components, Windows Update.

Start-Run- gpedit.msc then Local Computer Policy/computer configuration/administrative templates/windows components/windows update Make sure that these settings are not configured.
