Wlancfg5 caused an invalid page fault

by spadden . Updated 22 years ago

I am trying to setup a windows 98se computer with a Netgear wireless card WG311 v2 and get it to communicate with a netgear access point WG602 v2. It can communicate with access point but I get no internet access. While in Internet Explorer (where itcannot display a web page) I have twice gotten the message Wlancfg5 caused an invalid page fault in module at 000:32322e30. I did find that Wlancfg5 has something to do with netgear but I am a lost as to what I should do? The netgear website is no help in this matter and if you call them this is a billable problem. Does anyone out there have any advice or experience with netgear equipment.
