Is there any way to have a pop-up massage box appear on a specific Client? Instead of the broadcast being sent to everyone. What I'm looking for is a utility that would send out a massage to different organizations that would let me select which group should recieve the massage.
thanks,
MAM

(It says this q has 1 reply but I don't see any. Hope I'm not duplicating.)
You can use the net send command in a bat file to send to specific groups. Just substitute your groups and computer names, etc. Here's an example:

@ Echo off
:: This file sends messages to work stations based upon two parameters
:: %1 is the audiance i.e. ALL, MGMT, SRS, T16, T2
:: %2 is the message always placed in ""

if %1 == h goto help
if %1 == H goto help
if %1 == fd goto Frontdesk
if %1 == t2 goto Service
if %1 == t16 goto Claims

:help
cls
echo msg [parameter 1, parameter 2] *** use lower case only ***
echo parameter 1:
echo fd = frontdesk
echo t2 = Service
echo t16 = Claims
echo " "
echo parameter 2:
echo "message" you must put the message in ""
echo " "
echo " "
pause
goto end

:Frontdesk
net send rrr001A %2
net send rrr0020 %2
net send rrr0013 %2
goto end

:Service
net send rrr0003 %2
net send rrr000A %2
net send rrr000B %2
net send rrr0017 %2
net send rrr001F %2
goto end

:Claims
net send rrr0001 %2
net send rrr000C %2
net send rrr0010 %2
net send rrr0011 %2

goto end

:end
