I have recently purchased a new Mainboard and Processor. It will run 100 Mhz FSB or 133 Mhz. It is a DFI AK75-EC Mainboard, with a AMD Athlon XP 1800+. I bought Kingston PC 133/256 mb Ram. I set up and configured the system on 100Mhz FSB, then after debating for awhile I decided to try to reach the full potential of this new Processor.
So I opened the jumper to 133Mhz FSB the machine will go through Post and I can get into Bios and see that it is running at 133Mhz and the processor is recognized at 1533 just like it should but it will not boot to Windows. I am wondering if maybe my Ram is out of Freq. Can somebody give me some suggestions? Please?
