What luck. I was originally going to take today off as a vacation day, but because the company Christmas party was scheduled for today, I moved my vacation day to next week.
Got half way to work and got a call that the offices were being closed because of the weather, so I turned around and went back home. Thank goodness for cell phones, huh? Normally an hour drive in, but with the highway moving at 30 mph it would have taken me over 2 hour each way. Was ONLY one hour into the drive at that point, so turned around and am now nice and warm.
So, I get the day off and didn’t have to burn a vacation day for it! Sweet! 😀
Anyone else getting a snow day? I am sure Mae did, because looking at the weather, instead of the snow we are getting in Michigan, she is getting the sleet. [i]yuck![/i]
