Ever since I installed WinXP SP2, Word 2003 (from Office Pro 2003) has done the following in many if not most documents, especially documents created by pasting text copied from html files. When I make a change in formatting highlighted text, the change affects the whole document, not just the highlighted text. For instance, if I highlight some text to change to BOLD, the entire document becomes BOLD!! If I click the Undo button, the rest of the document returns to NORMAL and only the highlighted text stays as BOLD. Wierd!! Is there a selection in one of the OPTIONS Tabs that should be selected or deselected to stop this from happening?? I have reinstalled Office 2003 and that did not help. While it happens less often with documents generated strickly by typing instead of pasting, it can happen there too.
