Word 2007

I tried using Control N to give me one-n dashes. Since then, the document I had open when I did that always shows up when I open Word instead of a blank page. I have tried to delete this document and have uninstalled and reinstalled Office, yet this “Document1” still shows up (unaltered) whenever I open Word.
