word 2007 shortcut to advanced properties

By ne25422 ·
Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but in Word 2007 is there a way to create a keyboard shortcut to open the advanced properties dialog box? Office/prepare/properties/document/properties/advanced is a lot of clicks for something I use frequently. Office/Word options/customize/keyboard shortcuts/customize/Office menu/Commands does not seem to offer a command for the document poperties command or advanced properties command. Any other suggestions?

Welcome to the "Ribbon"

another reason I dislike it.

If you're not aware, most Alt-keystroke menus from 2003 will work in 2007. I use Alt-E-E (Edit/Replace) all the time.

Good luck.

Yes this work to get to Properties but to get to advanced properties takes another two clicks, which isn't alot much better than the method in my original question. I was hoping to define an alt key that would bring up the Advanced Proterties directly.
