Hi,
I have a user on a Windows NT 4.0 machine running Office 97.
In Word, when he clicks on Insert Cross Reference, nothing happens. Normally, a pop-up box appears asking for reference type, etc., but on his, nothing.
He can insert symbols, fields, captions etc. Seems to be just cross-references that are a problem.
The problem occurs in all documents he opens, even ones created by different users.
I have tried re-installing word, all of office, and the service pack for office, all to no avail. I’ve seen the Microsoft KB doc. about protected documents, but that doesn’t apply.
Anyone got any ideas??
