Word 97 send to command

I have a user on NT4 service pack 6a running office 97. When the user goes to file--send to and email it opens up her exchange box not her outlook. Outlook is the default client but no matter what i do i can not get it to open in outlook. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Remove any spaces from the pasted link or simply search for the Microsoft KB article # 190719 which relates to your problem.

I have found this to be a bug in Word\Outlook and have educated my users to finish making changes to their documents, saving and closing them. They have to know where the file is located so that they can create a new message, address it, and insert the file\document that is to be sent. This greatly increases the users' comfort level with Windows when they know where their files are and how to retrieve them.

Check Internet explorer options/programs. Set here your default email client.

Thanx for your Help but the fix is for outlook Express not outlook.
