I am having a problem with a computer that is in China -very long screwdriver- when Internet Explorer is running we get an error when opening word. By deleting the Normal.dot template word will open fine one time and then the error reappears the next time word is opened. This only occurs when Internet Explorer is open. this is on a relatively new Dell laptop. Otherwise it works fine. I have had the system scanned for virusses and all that stuff. I am seeing a failed login by advapi a lot? I thought this was a worm related to advapi.exe not the regular advapi32 file. we did a search for the advapi.exe but did not find it. Any suggesstions? thanks george steinmann
