A user has a Compaq E500 laptop running NT4 on a Novell network. While in the metwork MS Word and Excel work fine. When logged onto the laptop locally they hang occasionally (no error messages).
The user tells me that previous support staff have used a registry edit to fix this problem for others, but I cannot find the fix documented anywhere.
