Problems (may or may not be related):
1. In Word97 cannot use “Save As” command, it seems to go through the process correctly but does not do a “save as”, file name remaions the same. Only time it will rename a file is if you start with a blank document.
2. In Excel97, two (2) blank worksheets come up when starting Excel and some files will not print (except for the header and footers). The print preview shows what actually prints (header & footer).
These problems happend after a year and a half of normal operation in a Windows 98 environment. I have uninstalled the programs (even using eraser 97) and reinstalled – same problems are still there. Even upgrading to Office 2000 versions did not solve or change the problems.
