I can’t remove the cairrage return symbol by clicking off the Show/Hide button from the standard toolbar. I also cannot edit, rename or delete the Normal.Dot template. This is a MSOffice 2K Pro. installation. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but this didn’t fix the problem. Also the old user’s name appears as trhe registered user even though I changed that on the reinstall. Any suggestions short of formatting the hard drive and reinstalling Win98 etc?
