We have over 300 users with the same computers. Dell GX110 desktops with all the same hardware and apps. A certain amount of users have this particular problem. Within a wordperfect 9 document, when they run the spellchecker it goes throught the whole document fine except at the end. When it says it is complete if you hit ok you get this message. “wpwin9.exe. The instuction at 0x3afe80c referenced memory at 0x00000018. The memory could not be read.” It is not the memory. We have already went that route. On the users that were getting this error we reformatted their drives and reinstalled all the apps including wordperfect. They still get the same error. If you cancel the spell checker you don’t get the error. Only when you hit ok. I can’t find anything on Corel’s site about this. All computers are on a network running windows 2000. Has anyone come across this? I should also mention it is not one document specifically but rather any document they open.
