    WordPress URL Problem

    by emmaoliviaa20 ·

Hi Everyone, This is my first question here and I’m a blogger and I have to build a website. I have noticed a problem with my permalink when I click to read more button my permalink gets #more-2930 like this at the end but normally my links open correctly without click read more and I am having this problem on all the posts I’m using generate press child theme. I have tried changing the link from the WordPress admin panel to the post name but that doesn’t work. and my second question is does this affect google ranking? I am attaching both URLs with and without reading more so experts can better understand my problem.
    Without clicking read more: https://startmyhouse.com/blog/
    After Clicking Read More: https://startmyhouse.com/best-rated-mattress/#more-2794
    Help will be appreciated.

First figure out the database name for your WordPress site. …
Click the Overview tab and then click the Edit Details button (pencil icon) to the right of your domain name.
      Write down your database name.
Go back to your cPanel and click phpMyAdmin.
