Workbook page setup in Excel

By bgailliu ·
When I set up a large workbook in Excel, I am currently setting the page parameters for each worksheet individually. How can I set the page parameters so that all worksheets in the workbook automatically have the same setup?

When I've spent time getting the formula structure or formatting of a worksheet just the way I want it -- and then want to "clone" it into another worksheet -- I use the "Move or copy" right-click menu option.

Right-click on the worksheet tab and select the "Move or copy" dialog. Check the "create a copy" box and specify where the clone worksheet will be put. (You can easily move them around). Click on OK to make an identical copy of your worksheet. It will be assigned a unique name automatically.

Lastly, rename the new worksheet as desired with the "Rename" right-click menu option.

There are other exciting ways to automate the process using "macros" Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), but that's another Q&A topic!
