I have a mixed network, boy is it mixed – 95 to 2000. I’m migrating the NT and 2000 computers to a domain after being incorrectly used as workgroup workstations. I successfully moved the user profiles on the NT machines from the local account to the domain account using “my cmputer/User and copy/change” after thier initial logon.
I assumed the process was the same for Win2K, however, in the change dialog box, it will not let me select users from the domain account. It only shows me the users from the local account.
How can I migrate users from local profiles to thier new profiles locally (we will not be using roaming profiles) so they can log on to the domain and still retain all their old files?
