Working from home VPN / NAS
Hi!
I am going to be working from home for the forseeable future in my own business.
The setup goes like this:
Work Location:
– Printers
– Server with Windows Server (2019 if I’m not mistaken, could be wrong)Home Location:
– Synology NAS
– Arriving this week Google Nest WiFI.Both connected to the internet using cable broadband routers.
The thing is we have all the data at the work Location. I want to be able to work as if I were there.. as in, be able to send stuff to the printers, and also have a backup of the data that’s currently on the work server to the Synology NAS that’s here at home.
Although I’ve been tinkering with it for a while on a basic level, I am a total new comer to the complex network world…. But the main concepts are there…
Detailed instructions even if “generic” since the routers are different would be welcome….
