Let’s be real here, we all know that the average non IT manger still does not know hardware from software. So when these so called mangers are told in advance when services have to be taken off-line for whaterever reason, the IT department is takenfor granted, (IT will do thing when they think they should be done). This creates a lot of rescheduling of tasks throuout the company, thats why IT takes the heat for their poor planning and ego triping, you know the I’m the Manager of whatever, outside of IT but I still don’t know what’s going on routine.
