workstation remote desktop connection

By azamup ·
Hello, we have network of 40 XP_Pro with SP1 nodes. Each node's remote desktop connection feature is diabled by default.

Now everytime when i need to work on the remote node thru remote desktop connection it needs to enable it by manually by visiting the desired node.

I have win2k Server ADS installed as well & wana automate the procedure of enabling the remote desktop connection automatically instead of manually.

regards,

Azam

Here it is:

Now instead of going to the local computer, you can map to the c drive of the remote computer(provided you are the admin)
go to c:\windows\system32\gpedit and navigate to the path they mentioned.
and saved it in the remote computer on the same c;\windows\system32 folder.

If you run these computers on a network using microsoft server 2000, you should be able to set the remote desktop to on by default using group policy settings in active directory.
