One of the things I do is write computer advice articles for a small town newspaper. In thinking about the latest article, I thought I’d write about viruses (and the sometimes overblown hype surrounding them).
I’m curious what technical people here believe the worst virus they’ve ever encountered and explain why they thought it to be true?
Personally, the worst ever from personal experience would be from quite a few years ago, “Chernobyl” (CIH), and aren’t we all glad that the, “worst” that seems to get out in the wild these days would be basically nuicance mass mailers. (Yes, some would disagree with that statement, I know.)
So I’d be interested in your thoughts, yes even if you disagree! 🙂
