if I remember correctly, XP SP2 has support for WPA encoding as opposed to WEP. I have an unused freshly installed laptop with SP2 and built-in wireless-B card, and it works fine as long as I don’t try to access a WPA encoded router – which is what I would like mine to be.
I looked in the Advanced Settings for Wireless Networks, and the only security type I can enter is none or WEP, and in no case do I see any way to pre-shared key which is what I would prefer.
Any idea how I can get that working?
