I have been trying to install Word Perfect Suite 8 on a Compaq Armada M700 laptop. I am not able to launch the Word Perfect application and each time get this error: “Program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.” I have uninstalled and installed it several times, even downloaded the latest service pack (7) from Corel, but still get this persistent illegal operation error. One of my collegues told me to remove Microsoft NetMeeting if it was installed. There is no NetMeeting!! Help!!! I hope someone out there has the solution. Thanks!
