wrong logon server

After starting a laptop, the wrong logon server is used.So the remote connection is used rather than the server on location.

This looks like a local network connectivity problem rather than a reource location problem. I mean: is the laptop connected to the lan? Are you able to ping the local server? To resolve his name? The situation you describe is typical when no connection is active on the lan adapter and the system try to find a logon server on the dial up adapter. bye

During login, below the domain name there will one check box for remote login will be there. If it is ticked then it will log in only to remote connection. We have to un check the check box during login. This problem will be there if dial up connection installed in the m/c
