Wrong Wireless Router

I have a laptop on a wireless network that is grabbing the neighbors wireless network instead of the default selected. All others are fine. How do I force this laptop to see and grab the right network?

Your wireless adapter should have a configuration utility that came with it. Using that utility you should be able to set a specific SSID (server set id). If you did not change from the default your router came with you should do so (if for no other reason than security). In your adapter configuration check to see if the ssid is set to “ANY”. If so, that is the problem (it is connecting to any signal it can find). Change the adapter’s ssid to what you have set in your router and it should not pick up your neighbor’s.
