I am currently trying to install WSUS on a Windows 2000 Server.
I have gone through the setuping up of the IIS SQL server and am currently trying to install the WSUS.
I have double clicked on WSUSSetup.exe and have gone through the steps with no problem.
I get to the stage where it states “copying files” with the progress bar moving about 1/4 of the way and getting stuck.
I have left it overnight with no progress in the installation.
The only way I can stop the installation is to kill the process through the task manager.
I must be missing some very basic step here somewhere.
