I didn’t bother sayign anything the other day but two weeks in a row makes me wonder who the hell is leaving early.
Last week I had just finished researching and typing a reply only to click submit and read ”We are sorry but the feature you’ve requested is unavailable at this time.”
Of course, unlike most forums, when posting on TR, once you return to the last page your post is lost and unrecoverable. Okay so I fumed and ranted and went for a beer, TR some other day.
Today, I spent an hour or so compiling info on a question I had for teh community, this time I put it in notepad, knowing this ‘unavailble’ issue happens from time to time. I C&P’d from notepad to post and then submitted, again ”We are sorry but the feature you’ve requested is unavailable at this time.”
okay, now I am gettign pretty upset, it is 2:54 PM on a MONDAY afternoon.
Who the hell at TR does sever maintentance during Western business hours?
If this is to be a weekly outage due to you being in a different time zone, at least post a note that you adhere to your time zone’s business hours and if you are anywhere else, post at your own risk because the admin wants to go home at 5:00. If it is just an admin who has figured closing time in your time zone is a good time to do this, let us know so we can skip posting to TR in the afternoon.
We went through this before and they started sheduled updating at a different time, which was much better, but I am thinking that with the recent staff changes at TR that you have reverted to an admin without knowledge that the world has different time zones.
