WUS not updating remote office clients

I’ve setup WUS on a local server using a domain Group Policy (which also covers all sites). The server has contacted and updated all LAN clients/servers but will not list any remote office client/servers that are connected via VPN, even though GP is correct all DC’s in all offices.
I’m not sure what’s stopping this as the links all have VPN connections to the central office and the WUS server.
