How come, or why does my f keys stop working after I have used my system for a period of time. Ie, I run for days with the system up….. Using alt/f4 to close windows… cntrl tab to switch between tabs, stuff like that. And I can’t even give you a firm amount of time for the system being up, but I don’t think it has to be up for days for this to start happening.
Then all at once, they quit working. I can’t tell what applications im running, because they change. And a lot of times it just happens, no hung applications or anything.
A quick reboot usually solves this, but I HATE the mouse. I live by the f keys. And when they quit working, I die by them. Chuckle.
This occurred when I used xp pro, now I have xp media. 2 gig of memory on a dual processor dell. This is a wireless keyboard, but usually when the keyboard is dieing. Everything quits working.
This crap happens at work too. And that’s….. errr, 2000 something. So, anyone else had these problems?
Actually, I’m curious as sin why this occurs.
