XP and MS Word compatability problem

On XP Home edition PC I get “complile error on hidden file:MAIN” with MS Word 2002 when program is loaded, file is saved, or program is closed. Processings continues after I click OK, but I can’t use “save as” on a file. Any ideas how to solve without reloading everything?
