XP automatic logs off

By stijn.peeters ·

I have a little problem.
I need 2 access databases to stay open all of the time 24/7, 7 days a week.
At different times during the day a scheduled task runs within access.
But XP logs off itself. we logged in last friday and opened the 2 databases. during the weekend it stayed open. But monday it logged off.
I cant find any reason which causes this log off.
Can anyone give me any probable causes?

If it logged off you should be asking the Admin wherever the machine was logged in.

Perhaps it was pushed to log off?

Bhagavadgita, perhaps you should change your avatar to something that is more apppealing.

This may enable Vishnu to grant you an enlightenment that will help you to solve Amol_7p's question!!!

I've only been a 'Tainite' for 7 years, having been born 200 miles south in Glasgow.

Although I do seem to remember that when I was up at John O'Groats in late 2000, there WERE women up there that strangely found me attractive.

As for old wives tales, I really wouldn't know.
Mine was only 25 years old when I divorced her - I was 32 at the time! :^0

Married and divorced in London so I'm also attractive when I travel south.

Odd that!!

new updates from M$. Power failure, also check power settings. Check your power strip. Check your PSU. Is the PC set to Automatically restart in the event of an error. Check the Event logs.
