Hello: on a recent install of wXPproSP2, with all latest updates in, this a.m. wife’s hi-power desktop went to black screen after windows logo on boot, giving in that terminal, a choice of “profiles” to open…in this case there was only profile 1. She selected, PC seemed to boot normally. I had also installed TWEAKUI with autologon selected. Is this the same “user profile” or is this profile on black screen a sign that something is already screwing up on this new install? If so, what should I scout for? Is this “profile” related to system restore (never used that), and was a restore made from a restore point? Thank you.
