XP Bypass install

By bulls2 ·
When I start Windows XP, it goes into install mode. At the time it reaches 'Installing devices', it automatically reboots and I can't get out of this loop.
Since I can boot in safe mode, how can I disable the install so I can boot in normal mode?

do you have time to run a command before it reboots "msconfig" for instance?

I remeber have these issues upon first time install and after upgrade to SP2 on various machines, all was a result of an outdated bios. Did you check this possibility yet?
