I delaing with a Dell desktop computer, XP, Norton AV, CD Rom drive and a DVD drive. When the computer starts with a CD in either drive, I can read the contents of the CD. If I put another CD in the drive, it looks empty in My Computer. If I restart the computer with the second CD in the drive, it reads fine. Same behavior on either drive.
The problem seems to have started after an upgrade to Norton. I have turned off AutoProtect in Norton with no effect.
Ideas please.
