XP clients can see, but not acces shared folders on Vista server

Hi all,

For Flightsimulator last week I upgraded my XP server to Vista.

I shared all folders , made the domain the same as the XP clients , and gave full acces acces to all users .

File/printersharing is on.

The clients can see all shared folders, but when trying to open them acces is denied.

I even disabled Defender and the Firewal ( Windows and Nod32 ) to make sure nothing is blocking the cleints.

But somewhere there must be a setting that makes give the cleint pc’s permission to acces folders and read/write files.

After 2 days of trial and error help is really appriciated.
