What is XP Corperate? Is it a hacked version of XP?

XP Corporate doesn't require activation. Other than that it's the same as the retail version.

Well, you could always call Microsoft and buy a site license. Your best bet is a buddy in IT at a big corporation who'll burn you a copy.

The corporate version is designed for large corporate customers with site licenses to install the software on multiple desktop systems. It has no Activation feature as this would obviously be a significant annoyance.

It is also popular with Pirates for this reason, but is *not* a hacked version. There are utils that bypass the activation feature also, but I think these are in violation of the EULA even if you have a legal copy.

It is what we use here. It makes it easier to distribute software in an enterprise. You don't ahve to know all the software keys. Although the corperate version os WXP does require a key, as does Office XP.

If it is a legal vertion of xp where do I get one?My venders dont no anything about xp corp. and Microsoft dosnt have any info on it.
