XP Desktop Accounts

After creating 4 accounts/profiles on a XP professional desktop, I have over time deleted/removed the account not needed till there is only one – mine as the admin. I want to be able to boot the PC directly to the desktop rather than have to go through the’Welcome’ screen. Going through the welcome screen takes ages before there is recognition that there are no accounts/profiles to process.
How do I achieve this?
